Larry DePrimo gave a new pair of boots to a homeless man in Manhattan's Times Square. The photo of homeless man Jeffrey Hillman accepting a pair of boots from NYPD officer Lawrence DePrimo on a cold November night near Times Square has become an Internet sensation. But it turns out Hillman, a military veteran, isn't actually homeless. Jeffrey Hillman's brother Kirk was stunned when he read about the tourist's photograph of New York City police officer Lawrence DePrimo giving new all-weather boots and thermal socks to a barefoot homeless man in Times Square.
