Piaggio's MP3 Hybrid three-wheeler

The Piaggio Group's claim that its new MP3 Hybrid is “doomed to transform city mobility” would usually be categorized as a somewhat overreaching PR declaration. Price tag US$12,500, a 33% premium over the 250cc version, the MP3 Hybrid is a milestone vehicle because it is the first hybrid motorcycle presenting many important protection characteristics that make the 60 km/l (140+ mpg) tri-wheeler a convincing option for commuters. We've exhausted some time on the 250cc version of the MP3 and can promise that it is just as maneuverable and enjoyable as a motorcycle yet much secure. While the foolishly called MP3, it doesn't actually any link with music. We believe that it will make an impact when on sale in Europe subsequent month. We also expect to perceive the hybrid on U.S. Roads next year.
