The award winning Call of Duty series , receives a further boost as revelations by Activision that they are working on Modern Warfare 2 ( sequel to Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare).
IGN.com reports ‘Activision Blizzard has revealed Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, Sequel to award winning Cod 4; Modern Warfare, Infinity Ward’s successful First Person Shooter. According to the MTV multiplayer, the publisher revealed the game at Massive Inc. upfront held in Manhattan, New York. These upfront events typically allow publishers to display their games to advertisers. While little is known of the game, MTV reports that Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is expected to be released sometime this fall’
Modern Warfare 2 is expected to be released for all formats. It is expected that the multiplayer formats and game-play introduced in COD4 is going to be the at the centre-stage of the game, while Co-op campaign which was introduced recently in COD 5 World at War will come back to the Modern Warfare series.
